Using Exceptional Expressions in Your Classroom

The heart of each E4 is the word web. We provide two versions for each lesson, one filled-in and one with blank boxes. These can be projected using an interactive whiteboard or as overheads (they’re even simple enough to redraw on a blackboard), making possible a variety of flexible usage scenarios.

  • Review the word web with students using the completed version
  • Brainstorm with students to fill in the blank version

You can also adapt the blank form for use as a worksheet. Feel free to be creative.

The last E4 will be available on April 24, 2010. We will now be updating the first 7 E4s.
